Our electric department consists of a power plant, a sub-station and distribution system.
Our grade 1 system pumps from wells 3 and 4 on a rotating basis. The only treatment of the water is by chlorination.
HMU provides electric and water services for the entire city. The City of Hopkinton provides garbage, sewer, and storm water services as well. All services are billed on one statement, but are itemized separately on each bill. Monthly bills are mailed out on or about the 25th of each month and due on or about the 15th of the following month.
